Launch of Europe's largest sexual health survey

The largest European online sex survey has been launched to help gay and bisexual men improve their sex lives and prevent sexual health problems, including reducing new HIV infections.

EMIS - the European MSM Internet Sex survey - incorporates the UKs Gay Men's Sex Survey. The EMIS survey will be available throughout the summer in 25 languages and with a target sample of 60,000 gay men and bisexual men it will be the largest survey of this population ever undertaken anywhere in the world.

Quoted on the website pinkpaper.com, Alan Wardle, THT’s Head of Health Promotion, said: “This survey will really help inform THT and our partners’ future health campaigns and build on the evidence we’ve been gathering for many years.”

“You might find out something new by taking part and all information you provide will help better meet the needs of gay and bisexual men. A high response rate will also help us send a signal to governments that HIV and sexual health are still very important.“
