Taking place on Saturday 26th June 2010, and returning to Endcliffe Park, there will be all the usual excellent areas and activities we can expect from Pride events, a main stage, community area, beer tent, community area and a dedicated spot for the children. But as ever there will be new and interesting things to look out for. For more information on Sheffield Pride please visit www.sheffieldpride.org.uk Sheffield Pride is one of the biggest live music events for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered community, with an inclusive, attitude-free environment designed to increase the visibility of Sheffield's LGBT communities. It is important for a fun, non-political event to exist in order to stress the importance of equality; and to highlight homophobia that people from marginalised LGBT communities of Sheffield sometimes suffer. It is a time to celebrate our differences as a community and thank all those individuals, businesses and organisations that support the LGBT community in the ways that they do. Sheffield Pride has been nominated for the best festival/event at the Exposed awards which shows the amount of support that we have received throughout the year as a result of the success of Sheffield Pride 2009. |

After the massive success of last year's Pride, which saw over 5,500 people in attendance, plans for Sheffield Pride 2010 are well under way.
