FS - New issue out now

This lifestyle magazine for gay and bisexual men includes information on issues such as health, sexual health and relationships. Group for HIV+ gay and bisexual men
The next HIV+ gay and bisexual men’s group meeting will be taking place on Monday the 28th September 2009, from 5.00pm-8.00pm. The first hour and half of the meeting will be an opportunity to discuss and contribute to the publicity materials for the group.

Group for HIV+ gay and bisexual men

First Meeting - Monday 17th August

Feedback from a recent survey to find out what HIV+ gay and bisexual men would like in terms of a local support service in Sheffield suggests that there is a need for a regular group meeting.Following an initial consultation evening, the first meeting of the group will take place as outlined above. 

This will be a friendly, safe and confidential informal support group exclusively for HIV+ gay and bisexual men organised by the Centre for HIV and Sexual Health.

Spring Out Awards

As part of this years Spring Out event (which took place on 13 June), three awards were given out to recognise the support and positive contribution to Sheffield’s LGB communities made by local individuals and services.

 

This year’s awards went to:-

  • Permjeet Dhoot of NHS Sheffield
  • Sheffield Archives and Local Studies
  • The staff at the Department of G U Medicine - Sheffield Halllamshire Hospital
